Initial Contact

From Session 1-2:

LOTTIE attacks the lady, passes a strength check, smells rotten meat, does 1 damage

After the Spell Breaks

From Session 1-2:

immediately: we're in a different room, spell having lifted

all the crosses on the walls are upside-down, filth shit and vomit covers every surfcae, the furnitutre is fucked, it's freezing cold, there is no fire, we smell the meat smell that LOTTIE got a flash of, rotting meat

where there was an old woman, there is now a grey mass of flesh covered in abscesses, her face is just a lolling tongue and swollen-shut eyes, she's holding her tumorous udders, which are dripping a white slime, which we'd previously perceived as tea cups

The LADYSLUG Chase

From Session 1-2:

LADYSLUG follows us out the door; squishes through it like an octopus, stinks like rotting meat;

lady shoots her big black tongue out of her mouth at LOTTIE in a real frog move; LOTTIE dodges, tongue splats on the ground with an incredibly loud thwack like a moose hitting a car

SEAMUS's Resurrection (2001)

After Rising from the Dead

From Session 1-2:

SEAMUS wakes up, in flames, gets out of the car

ERASTUS is medically certain that SEAMUS was dead

SEAMUS can smell rotting meat

SEAMUS confirms that he does not crave brains

At Home

From Session 1-2:

SEAMUS: "could you be big spoon tonight GWEN? also do I smell like rotting meat?"

GRENADINE: "you smell like meat daddy"

The 2004 Deliveries

From Session 3:

on the same day in 2004, three people smell rotting meat:

• LOTTIE: at grocery store a few years later, follows a blood trail into th eback room where there's a dying bat on top of an item
• ERASTUS: driving truck home in the dark, then hits a deer; cops find an item on the car
• SEAMUS: waiting for daughter at sleepover; daughter gets home holding an item which she says was given by a crow
  in all three cases, the item is a short story, very short book, titled SREDNI BASHTAR by SAKI, pseudonym of Hector Hugh Monroe, published 1911

HOUGHTON's Apartment (2016)

The Cat Vomit

From Session 4:

VELASQUEZ: yeah we went there, but didn't search thoroughly; got the camera footage; collected the trashbag which was full of cat vomit and paper towels.

[...]

LOTTIE: can we get a sample of that cat vomit?

VELASQUEZ: sure

LOTTIE: we want a look at everything you collect

a guy brings us a the trashbag in an evidence bag; MO jars it up. the vomit does have a weird smell, kind of like rotting meat, and makes us feel hungry.

The Floor Stain

From Session 4:

diaries: initial pages begin with her DHS work. at some point, the pages start filling with the same sentence over and over again, which is the same glowing paragraph-long review of cornucopia house: "the conditions at cornucopia house is above the standard. YELENA is a great caretaker. etc"

ed note: her place is nasty enough that it's weird she was concerned with taking out some cat puke
